Both uses of the word Simple and Simpler are used? Technically the word Simpler is preferred as the word Simple may give the impression that Family History is always easy and simple. In reality family research eventually becomes “Nigh unto impossible” as records are no available. The project has not enforced the preferred use of Simpler.

The site is dedicated to the cause of promoting opportunities for Youth to Learn and Teach others  Family History, and provides access to the lessons to those that are supporting this at no cost, to be eligible a youth team must contain a member that is less than 18 years of age. 

The Basic version of Ancestral Quest is downloadable at no charge to the user.  The collaboration module requires activation by a key that is obtained at a cost. It is possible to use the site without any version of Ancestral Quest, Some of the Youth Teaching Youth activities such FHQ champions do not require access to Ancestral Quest. The value of the site to a user is greatly increased if Ancestral Quest is available for use.

If the picture quality is poor, this may be an internet issue.

1. Click Settings the cog wheel
2. Adjust from auto to 1080P or a lower setting.

Help with poor picture quality

If you cannot hear the sound:

1. Check that the volume histogram next to the settings cog wheel is on the highest bar by using the up and down arrows.
2. Check the computers Sound settings are set to high.
3. Use a headset OR
4. Use an external amplifier with speaker volume control.
